Citroën Survolt as driven by Vanina Ickx (w/Video)
Finally a colour video of the Citroën Survolt EV Proto-type as driven around the Le-Mans circuit by Vanina Ickx.
The Survolt features a tubular chassis and carbon bodywork; it uses two electric motors with a combined power output of 300bhp, with full torque available between 0-5000rpm. Powering the motors is a 31kw lithium-ion batteries that allow for a 124-mile range and can be recharged in two hours.
Citroen claims the Survolt is capable of getting from 0-62mph in less than 5.0sec and reaching a top speed of more than 160mph. Curb weight is no specified.
